Neighborhood Guide / Kalorama

If there were a diamond in downtown DC, I’d argue Kalorama is it. Tucked between Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle, and Georgetown – some of DC’s buzziest, most vibrant neighborhoods – this corner of the city is a secluded, prestigious oasis, and houses ambassadors, former presidents, and notable residents seeking a sophisticated retreat with a central location. Much of the neighborhood consists of tree-lined, winding streets dotted with photo-worthy homes, anchored by gorgeous, Art Deco apartment buildings along the main road. Since the neighborhood is purely residential, I recommend picking up a coffee and pastry at Soleluna in Adams Morgan before your stroll – and take a peek at some of my notes and photos below for a sense of direction.
